Women's Bowling rank 35th in USBC National Poll

Women's Bowling is ranked 35th in the recent United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Poll. The Muskies are the third ranked Club Team in the rankings.

The team finishes in 35th place following a seventh place finish in their most recent tournament at the Ohio Bowling Conference #5. No individual scores were recorded for the event, instead it was multiple games of baker scores added together. The Muskies finished the Ohio Bowling Conference in second place as a team for the season. The Ohio Bowling Conference is the largest collegiate conference in the country. 

Multiple Muskies earned conference awards this year in the OBC. Junior Kelsey Wilson was awarded 1st Team All-Conference to lead the Muskies. Senior Kaylee Hauck was awarded 2nd Team all-Conference, and was recognized for having recorded the Conference High Game. Freshman Tayler Clark was awarded 2nd Team All-Conference, and earned All-Freshman Team. Clark was also awarded Newcomer of the Year Award. Sophomore Elizabeth Springsteen was awarded Honorable Mention All-Conference and rounded out the Ohio Bowling Conference awards for the Muskies.

The team ended the year with five bowlers with above a 175 pins average per game. Hauck led all averages with a 187.46. Hauck also recorded nine Top 25 finishes, four Top 5 finishes, and earned the lone win as an indvidual for the Muskies this year. Clark logged a 182.48 average with three Top 5 finishes this season. Wilson tallied seven Top 10 finishes this season and averaged 182.25 pins per game. 

Muskingum will be back in action on Friday, March 8, when they compete in the USBC Sectionals at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, Michigan. This will be a three day tournament with times still TBA.
