Women's Bowling moves into the Top 25 of the USBC National Poll

Women's Bowling climbed into 25th on the latest United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Poll.

The women's bowling team has one win on the season, which came at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 tournament. The Muskies have also added three third place finishes at the Welcome Back Tournament, Ohio Bowling Conference #2 tournament, and the Ohio Bowling Conference #3 tournament.

In their most recent contest, the Muskies finished runner-up at the Ohio Bowling Conference #4 tournament. Senior Kaylee Hauck led the team with a total individual score of 782 (222-177-201-182), which notched her a third place finish individually. 

This season the Muskies are being led by Hauck, who has averaged 188.3 pins per game. Hauck has also recorded three top 5 finishes individually. Junior Kelsey Wilson and freshman Tayler Clark follow things up with averages of 184 pins per game. Wilson has recorded six top 10 finishes, while Clark is close behind with four top 10 finishes herself. Sophomore Elizabeth Springsteen has logged an average of 176.3 and added in two top 10 finishes herself. Junior Hailey Yingst rounds things out for the Muskies with a 172 average, and one top 5 finish this season. 

The Muskies will be back in action, looking to climb the rankings on Saturday, February 3, when they compete at the Muskie Mash tournament at Legacy Lanes in Coshocton, Ohio. The event is set to start at 10:00 a.m.
