Women’s Bowling finishes 40th at Hoosier Classic

The Muskingum women's bowling team finished 40th out of a 66-team field at the Hoosier Classic over the weekend in Indianapolis, Ind.

  • As a team, Muskingum finished 40th out of a 66-team field knocking down a grand total of 8097 pins.
  • Wichita State won the team title with an overall score of 9318.

Sophomore Kelsey Wilson carded a six-game series of 1110 (173-161-190-204-157-225) to finish 127th out of a 460-bowler field ending with a tournament average of 185.

Sophomore Hailey Yingst rolled a six-game series of 1096 (172-170-222-190-171-171) to place 137th ending with a tournament average of 182.7.

Sophomore Kaylee Hauck finished 141st bowling a six game-series of 1089 (223-154-188-177-198-149) ending with a tournament average of 181.5.

Freshman Elizabeth Springsteen rounded out the Muskingum effort rolling a five-game series of 1008 (155-213-238-164-238) to place 195th.
