Women’s Bowling ranked 55th in USBC Bowling Poll

The Muskingum women's bowling team was ranked 55th out of 153 teams in the United States Bowling Congress national poll released on Tuesday.

The Muskies racked up their top point-earning performance at a highly competitive Ohio Bowling Conference event hosted at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace. The Muskies captured its first tournament title of the season, which earned them 162 points toward their season total.

Sophomore Kaylee Hauck leads the Muskies with an exceptional 180.196 average, with six top-25 finishes, and four top-10 finishes including two top-five placements. Hauck is currently ranked 159th out of 374 bowlers in the country.

Sophomore Kelsey Wilson is averaging 176.435 this season, with three top-25 finishes, including two top-10 finishes. Wilson ranks 199th in the country.

Freshman Elizabeth Springsteen is having a solid campaign averaging 175.000 with three top-10 finishes, including one top-5 finish. Springsteen ranks 143rd in the country and 37th among 84 rookie bowlers.

Muskingum returns to action on Saturday, February 4, when they will compete in the Muskie Mash. The event is set for a 10AM start and is hosted at Legacy Lanes in Coshocton.
