Women's Basketball drops close contest to Otterbein

The Muskingum women's basketball team dropped a home contest against Otterbein in a closely contested, 62-59 game.

The Basics

Inside The Numbers

  • Muskingum shot 21-of-39 (53.8%) from the field, 6-of-11 (54.5%) from beyond the arc, and 11-of-19 (57.9%) from the free-throw line.
  • The Muskies combined for 31 rebounds, 11 assists, six steals, and two blocks.
  • Junior Tori Jones led the Muskies with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field. Jones was on fire from beyond the arc with a 5-of-6 shooting performance from three.
  • Junior Claudia Harrington fueled the Muskies with 11 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Harrington also finished the contest with two assists and two steals.
  • Freshman Mckenna Baney logged nine points and three rebounds to help the Muskie effort.
  • Sophomore Mckinzi Linscott finished with four points and seven rebounds. Linscott also logged one steal and two blocks for the Muskies.
  • Junior Courtney Hivick scored four points and finished with two rebounds and two assists.
  • Sophomore Sydney Reynolds scored four points and snagged two steals.
  • Otterbein shot 22-of-55 (40.0%) from the field, 7-of-16 (43.8%) from behind the arc, and 11-of-12 (91.7%) from the free-throw line.
  • Kyla Irby led the Cardinals with 25 points.
