Women's Basketball falls to Capital

The Muskingum women's basketball team fell on the road on Wednesday night. The Muskies were led by junior Tori Jones and freshman Mckenna Baney with 11 points each.

Inside The Numbers

  • Muskingum shot 23-of-64 (35.9%) from the field, 6-of-21 (28.6%) from beyond the arc, and 13-of-19 (68.4%) from the free-throw line.
  • The Muskies combined for 30 rebounds, 14 assists, seven steals, and three blocks.
  • Junior Tori Jones and freshman Mckenna Baney led the Muskies with 11 points each.
  • Sophomore Sydney Reynolds scored 10 points to help fuel the Muskie offense. Reynolds added two rebounds.
  • Junior Claudia Harrington and sophomore Mckinzi Linscott each added six points to the Muskies total offensive output. Linscott added eight rebounds and two blocks. Harrington added four rebounds and four assists.
  • Capital shot 23-of-46 (50.0%) from the field, 8-of-19 (42.1%) from behind the arc, and 28-of-34 (82.4%) from the free-throw line.
  • Bri O'Connor led Capital with 22 points and five rebounds.
