
The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced women's basketball sophomore forward Caitlyn DeMassimo was named to the All-OAC Second Team for her outstanding 2023-23 season.
DeMassimo, a first-time All-OAC honoree, ranked second in the Ohio Athletic Conference in free throw percentage at 89.4% and was fourth in the conference averaging 12.5 points per game. Her 6.8 rebounds per game was good for fifth in the OAC. DeMassimo's stellar performances against Capital, Otterbein, and 11th-ranked Ohio Northern earned her OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week accolades twice this season.
This season, DeMassimo etched her name into the record books setting school records for points in a game (38), free throws made in a game (16), and free throws attempted in a game (17) to propel Muskingum to a thrilling double-overtime victory over 11th ranked Ohio Northern.
