  1. The Muskingum women's basketball team dropped its home contest against OAC-foe Marietta in the Steele Center, Wednesday evening, 65-49.

Records: Muskingum (4-8 Overall, 1-4 OAC), Marietta (8-4 Overall, 3-2 OAC)

Inside the Numbers

  • Freshman Claudia Harrington led all Muskingum scorers finishing with 11 points, while also grabbing a team-high nine rebounds, and collected three blocks. Harrington finished 4-of-10 (40.0%) from the floor and was a perfect 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.
  • Sophomore Halle Morehead added eight points and dished-out a team-high three assists, while sophomore Caitlyn DeMassimo also had eight points and grabbed two boards coming of the bench for the Muskingum.
  • Junior Taylor DeMassimo finished with six points and five rebounds, while freshman Tori Jones also chipped in six points and three rebounds off the bench.
  • As a team, Muskingum shot 18-of-54 (33.3%) from the field and finished 7-of-22 (31.8%) from beyond the arc.
  • Marietta was led by Erin Hahn and Olivia Gribble who finished with a game-high 12 points.
  • As a team, the Pioneers finished 23-of-67 (34.3%) from the floor and finished 3-of-23 (13.0%) from three-point range.
  • Marietta forced 16 Muskingum turnovers, while Muskingum forced Marietta to give the ball up nine times. The Pioneers converted Muskingum's turnovers into 12 points, while the Muskies converted their takeaways into eight points.
  • Marietta finished the night with 20 offensive rebounds which gave the pioneers a 17-7 advantage in second chance points
