Women’s Basketball notches road OAC victory against Heidelberg

The Muskingum women's basketball team notched a 58-43 OAC road victory over Heidelberg on Saturday afternoon.

  • The win over Heidelberg marked Head Coach Kelly Broderick's first OAC win since she took over the program this season.

  • Muskingum was led by freshman Anna Lippiatt who registered a season-high 16 points, while also grabbing a team-high seven rebounds.
  • Freshman Lizzy Allen also notched a season-high 11 points and dished out a team-high four assists.
  • Sophomore Caitlyn DeMassimo chipped in nine points and four boards off the bench for Muskingum.
  • Freshman Claudia Harrington added eight points and three steals, while junior Taylor DeMassimo finished with seven points and four rebounds. 
  • Heidelberg was led by Elisha Carter who registered a game-high 18 points.
  • Muskingum shot 23-of-51 (45.1%) from the floor, while Heidelberg finished 15-of-48 (31.1%) from the floor.
