The Muskingum women's basketball team dropped their regular-season finale at Ohio Northern, 73-56.

How it Happened
- Both teams struggled to find momentum early on as the first quarter saw three ties and eight lead changes. Both teams were knotted at 17 apiece after the first period.
- Despite falling behind 26-20 midway through quarter number two, the Muskies used a quick 6-0 spurt to tie the game at 26 all with five minutes left until halftime.
- However, the Polar Bears used a 14-3 run to close out the half and led 40-29 at halftime.
- Out of the break, Muskingum opened the third quarter on a 12-2 run to trim the Ohio Northern lead down to 42-41.
- Despite the furious comeback, Ohio Northern would regain momentum and hold a 53-45 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
- In the fourth, Ohio Northern would progressively build their lead and eventually claim their 73-56 victory.
Inside the Numbers
- The Muskies were led by freshman Caitlyn DeMassimo with 13 points and six rebounds.
- Freshman Halle Morehead also got into double-figures with 11 points, while senior Sarah Miller added eight for Muskingum.
- Junior Casey Smith and sophomore Taylor DeMassimo each added six points, while sophomore Abby Jones chipped in five points and eight rebounds.
- Ohio Northern was led by Alissa Stahler with 19 points.
- On the afternoon, Muskingum shot 21-of-51 (41.2%) while Ohio Northern went 25-of-53 (47.2%).
- Ohio Northern won the rebounding battle 34-28 over the Muskies.
