- Heidelberg would claw their way back into the contest as they took a 31-30 lead over the Muskies in the third period, but a Milayna Williams three put the Muskies back on top, as they led the Student Princes 35-32 heading into the fourth.
- Heidelberg would score their final seven-points of the game with 2:16 remaining in the contest.
- Leia Smith and Halle Morehead clutch free-throws would extend the Muskie lead to three with 10 seconds left in the contest.
