The Muskingum women's basketball team celebrated Senior Night against Mount Union on Saturday night. The Muskies fell to the Purple Raiders, 79-61.

Notables
- Before the game, seniors Camay Baylock, Olivia Lang, and Kacie Leppla were recognized for their careers with the Muskingum women's basketball team.
- Baylock has been with the program for four years and appeared in 68 games for the Muskies. She averaged 4.9 points per game.
- Lang has been apart of the program for three years and appeared in 58 games for the Muskies. She averaged 7.4 points per game and shot 38.9% from behind the arc for her career.
- Leppla has been apart of the program for four years. The Millersburg native became a student assistant coach this year for the program.
OAC Tournament
- Muskingum will return to action Monday in the opening round of the OAC Tournament. Muskingum will be the nine-seed and play at eight-seed Wilmington. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. The Muskies and Quakers split their season series this year - with each team winning on its home court.
Inside the Numbers
- Junior Sarah Miller finished with a team-high 14 points. She shot 6-of-11 from the field.
- Senior Olivia Lang added 11 points, dished out two assists, and grabbed five boards.
- Freshman Leia Smith tallied nine points.
- Junior Tanner Wirth finished with a team-high seven rebounds.
- As a team, the Muskie shot 22-of-54 (40.7%) from the field and 5-of-18 (27.8%) from behind the arc.
- Leading the Purple Raiders was Elena Rauhe with 17 points shooting 8-of-17 from the field.
- Emma Cannon, Kelsie Glass, and Isi Palamone all added 12 points for Mount Union.
- The Purple Raiders shot 30-of-66 (45.5%) from the field and 6-of-21 (28.6%) from behind the arc.
The Difference
- The Muskies went 7-of-15 (46.7%) from the field and 3-of-6 (50.0%) from behind the arc to take a 19-11 lead over the Purple Raiders in the first quarter.
- Mount Union used a 26-15 second-quarter surge to take a 37-34 lead over the Muskies going into the half.
- Mount Union stretched its lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Muskies 23-15.
- Aiding Mount Union to their victory was their points in the paint, beating the Muskies 46-32.
- Mount Union was able to force 24 Muskie turnovers and converted that to a 26-7 advantage on points-off-turnovers.
- The Muskies finished with 35 rebounds and 12 assists as a team.
