The Muskingum women's basketball team fell in home action against 11th-ranked John Carroll on Friday night, 80-53.

- Freshman Leia Smith logged in a career-high-tying performance of 14 points. She finished 5-of-11 from the field and grabbed six rebounds, and had one block.
- Freshman Taylor DeMassimo chipped in 11 points, going 3-for-6 from behind the arc.
- Freshman Abby Jones added 10 points and grabbed five rebounds.
- Senior Camay Baylock led the Muskies with seven rebounds.
- The Muskies finished the game shooting a combined 17-of-59 (28.8%) from the field.
- Leading the charge for John Carroll was Olivia Nagy, who scored a game-high 22 points.

The Difference
- With 7:23 left in the second quarter, the Muskies took a 24-21 lead after a pair of free throws by Jones.
- John Carroll answered right back, going on a 17-5 run surge to take a 38-26 lead at the break.
- John Carroll opened the third quarter with a 15-6 surge to extend their lead, 53-32.
- The Blue Streaks ended the game with a 53-27 edge in rebounds and 28-11 nod in second-chance points.
