Game Highlights
In the first quarter, the Quakers jumped out to a quick 16-9 lead. Muskingum retaliated with seven unanswered points to tie up play at 18-18. Wilmington then scored six unanswered points to take a 24-18 lead at the end of the frame. In the second quarter, Muskingum tallied six straight points to get within three-points (27-24) of Wilmington. The Quakers answered back with a 7-0 run to secure a 34-24 edge on the Muskies. Muskingum went on to outscore the Quakers 14-10 in the last five minutes of the quarter to trim its deficit to 44-39 going into the break.
In the third quarter, the Muskies came out hot and tallied a 10-4 surge to secure a 49-48 advantage. From that point, the Muskies and Quakers traded baskets with neither team claiming more than a three-point lead with the Quakers taking a 61-58 edge into the final quarter. The last frame saw the Quakers outscore the Muskies 27-11 en route to the home win.
