Game Highlights
In the first quarter, the Muskies tallied back-to-back three-pointers to jump out to an early 6-0 lead. John Carroll retaliated with six straight points to tie up play at 6-6. The contest remained tight with Nagy drilling a long ball to give the Blue Streaks a three-point edge going into the second quarter (13-10). The Muskies and Blue Streaks traded baskets until John Carroll tallied a 7-0 run to slide past the Muskies with a score of 27-18. John Carroll collected two straight free-throws to expand the gap to 34-22. Muskingum fought back and managed to trim the Blue Streak lead to 35-28 going into the break. John Carroll came out hot and tallied a 20-5 run in the third quarter and rode that momentum to the 81-52 triumph over the Muskies.
