Muskingum made 25-of-27 free throws and sophomore Alexandra Carson added a career-best 16 points to lead the Muskies past Hiram on Monday night, 59-56.

Post Game
- Muskingum's 25-of-27 performance from the free throw line was its best shooting percentage (.926) of the season.
- Carson made 6-of-10 shots and was 3-of-4 from the charity stripe to register a career-high 16 points. She also added seven rebounds and a career-best six steals.
- Junior Jasmine Goings scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed six rebounds to aid the Muskie effort.
- Sophomore Olivia Besancon tallied eight points and hauled in three rebounds.
- The win was the second straight for the Muskies.
- Kaylee Shockley led Hiram with 19 points.
First Period
- Hiram led 15-13 after the opening 10 minutes.
Second Period
- The Muskies outscored the Terriers 23-14 in the second period to take a 36-29 lead into the break.
- The Muskie advantage was highlighted by making 17-of-19 free throws in the period.
Third Period
- Hiram used a 19-15 edge in the period to cut the Muskingum lead to 51-48 heading into the final period.
Fourth Period
- Muskingum and Hiram combined to shot just 4-of-24 from the field in the final frame.
- Both teams scored eight points each.
- Besancon hit two huge free throws with nine seconds on the clock to give Muskingum a 59-56 lead.
- Hiram had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer but a Savana Lowery three-point shot missed.
