The Muskingum women's basketball team suffered a 20-5 setback in the fourth period against Heidelberg University to lose the game 63-48.
The Basics

First Period
- The opening 10 minutes ended with the Muskies ahead 11-8.
- Muskingum connected on 4-of-19 from the field and Heidelberg made 3-of-10.
- Junior Mallory Taylor led the Muskies with four points, one assist, and one rebound.
- Marisa Liburdi led Heidelberg with four points.
Second Period
- The Student Princes outscored the Muskies 19-11 in the period to take a 27-22 lead at half.
- Heidelberg shot .429 from the field and made 6-of-10 free throws.
- Muskingum shot .308 from the field.
- Sophomore Olivia Besancon had eight of Muskingum's 11 points, including 2-for-2 from the three-point area.
- Heidelberg was led by Liburdi with seven points.
Third Period
- Muskingum outscored Heidelberg 21-16 to tie the game going into the last period.
- Junior Jasmine Goings led the Muskies with 8 points and two rebounds.
- The Student Princes were paced by Carli Patrick and Theresa Jackson with six points each.

- Muskingum fell behind Heidelberg on a 20-5 streak to end the game 63-48.
- Sophomore Alex Carson had three points and Senior Angela Darnley had two points.
- Heidelberg's Maggie Davault and Kate Brickner each had four points.

- The Muskies were led by Besancon with 11 points and five rebounds.
