Women's Basketball vs. Mount St. Joseph

The Muskingum women's basketball team beat Mount St. Joseph in its emotional "Play for 22 Game" on Wednesday night, 64-49. The game was dedicated to Mount St. Joseph freshman Lauren Hill, who was diagnosed with a rare brian tumor, DIPG, last year. Prior to the contest, Muskingum Head Coach Beth Fox and GameTime Dezigns' Katalin Beck presented a check for $10,000 to Mount St. Joseph for The Cure Starts Now Foundation in honor of Lauren Hill. Playing in front of the largest crowd of the season in the Recreation Center, Muskingum senior Taylor Maurer scored a career-high 21 points on a career-best seven three-point shots. Sophomore Jasmine Goings added 14 points and seven rebounds, while sophomore Mallory Taylor controlled the glass with a game-high 11 rebounds. Freshman Olivia Besancon registered a career-high six assists to pace the Muskie 16-assist output
