
The Muskingum Softball team kicked off their four game road trip in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, with two games on Friday afternoon. The Saturday games against Anderson and Dominican were canceled due to weather.
Friday, March 14
The Muskingum Softball team opened up their four game road trip on Friday afternoon. The Muskies lost to Greenville 4-3 and then battled #15 Central in an 8-1 loss.
In game one, Muskingum put up a strong fight but came up just short against Greenville, 4-3. Freshman Kasey Timko led the offense with two hits, a run, and an RBI, while junior Cara Taylor added two hits, a run, and a stolen base.
In game two, the Muskies battled against #15 Central but fell short in an 8-1 loss. Junior Cara Taylor led the offense with two hits, including a double, and scored a run. Junior Sadie Smith added to the effort with an RBI double.

Due to weather, the Muskingum softball games against Anderson and Dominican have been canceled.
