The Muskingum softball team fell to Mount Union in the OAC Tournament semifinal on Friday afternoon, 4-1.

- Mount Union struck first off a two-out, solo home run in the second to jump ahead 1-0.
- The Muskies knotted the score at one after a sacrifice fly foul ball to right field from Sarah Piteo.
- Mount Union pulled ahead 2-1, in the sixth off a two-out, RBI single up the middle.
- In the seventh, the Purple Raiders plated a pair of insurance runs on three hits to stretch its lead 4-1.
- Muskingum's final run of the contest came off an RBI single to right center from Haley Hawk to cut the Purple Raider lead 4-2. The Muskies looked to keep the two-out rally going, with two runners on base, and the potential game-winning run at the plate but a line drive to the Mount Union shortstop ended the contest.

- Junior Madelyn Thomas tossed 2.2 innings and allowed one run off three hits. Thomas also recorded a strikeout.
