Hawk and Osburn named NFCA 2nd Team All-Region

Muskingum senior first baseman Haley Hawk and senior third baseman Katie Osburn were named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) 2nd Team All-Region.

Hawk, a three-time All-OAC honoree, led the Muskies with a .402 batting average and 53 hits. She also notched 11 doubles, two home runs, and finished tied for second on the team with 29 RBIs. Hawk registered a .466 on-base percentage and .530 slugging percentage.

Osburn, a two-time All-OAC honoree, logged career-highs with 50 hits and 30 RBIs. She was second on the team with a .360 batting average and belted 12 doubles and one triple. Osburn ended the campaign with a .460 slugging percentage and .366 on-base percentage.

The all-region awards honor student-athletes from the NFCA's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective regions.
