The Muskingum softball team swept Ohio Athletic Conference rival Marietta at home to earn their 21st conference win of the season. The Muskies won Game1, 9-1, and Game 2, 9-3.

Inside the Numbers – Game 1
- Junior Hannah Smith earned her tenth win in the circle pitching all 6.0 innings, allowing one run off three hits, and registered seven strikeouts.
- Junior Katie Osburn guided the Muskie offense with two hits including a double and tallied two RBIs.
- Senior Bailey Waitkus added a hit, two RBIs, and a stolen base to the contest.
- Junior Haley Hawk and freshman Alex Fankhauser each tallied one hit and collected one RBI for the Muskies.
- Senior Shaena Mayer finished the game with two hits and a stolen base.
- Jordan Pallay registered one RBI for Marietta.
- Maddi Liston dealt with the loss for the Pioneers allowing three runs off four hits.
The Difference – Game 1
- The Muskies jumped out to an early 1-0 lead off a Hawk RBI single to right field in the first inning.
- The Muskies added another run in the first inning off an Osburn RBI double making it, 2-0.
- Marietta went on to score one run in the second off a sacrifice fly, still trailing, 2-1.
- Muskingum plated another run in the second making it, 3-1.
- The Muskies continued to pile up runs scoring another run in the third inning making it, 4-1.
- The Muskies extended their lead by scoring three runs off one hit in the bottom of the fifth making it, 7-1.
- Muskingum secured the win scoring on a passed ball making the final, 9-1.
- The Muskies finished the game with ten hits.
- All nine runs Muskingum had scored were plated with two outs.
Inside the Numbers – Game 2
- Senior Hannah Duff started on the mound for the Muskies and pitched the first 3.0 innings allowing no runs off five hits and registered two strikeouts.
- Sophomore Skylar Lafferty fired 1.1 innings for the Muskies allowing three runs off four hits.
- Freshman Madelyn Thomas pitched 2.2 innings of relief registering one strikeout and grabbed the win for Muskingum.
- Senior Alexia Dowdle notched one hit and tallied three RBIs for the Muskies.
- Senior Karsyn Shaffer added two hits and collected one RBI in the contest.
- Junior Cristianna Boggs and Waitkus both added one hit and one RBI each.
- Sophomore Taylor Gallentine and Osburn both collected one hit.
- Jordan Pallay added one hit and one RBI to guide the Pioneer offense.
- Hannah Richardson dealt the loss for Marietta allowing four runs off four hits.
The Difference – Game 2
- The Muskies plated the first run in the first inning gaining an early 1-0 lead.
- The Muskies capitalized on Marietta's two error second inning to plate three more runs, extending their lead, 4-0.
- The Muskies continued to pile up their runs, scoring two more in the third making it, 7-0.
- The Pioneers plated their only three runs in the fifth cutting down their deficit, 7-3.
- The Muskies scored their last two runs in the bottom of the fifth extending their lead, 9-3.
- The Muskies finished the contest with nine hits.
