Muskingum junior Jessica Matthews blasted a grand slam in game two against Ohio Wesleyan to help lead the Muskies to a doubleheader split on Thursday. The Battling Bishops won game one, 6-1, while the Muskies claimed the nightcap, 9-0.

Game Two
- Junior Jessica Matthews led the Muskie 14-hit attack going 2-for-4 with a grand slam and two runs scored.
- Sophomore Amy Clark went 2-for-4 with a two-run double.
- Freshman Cassie Thomas went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
- Freshman Rachel Eberling (3-1) fired a complete game six-hitter with four strikeouts en route to the shutout win.
- The Muskies scored twice in the third and fourth and added five runs in the seventh inning to complete the scoring.
Game One
- Ohio Wesleyan scored three runs in the first and second innings to take control of the contest.
- Muskingum's lone run came in the fifth inning on sophomore Melissa Maiorano's RBI double. She ended the game with two hits.
- Senior Kristin Gill (0-5) was tagged with the loss after allowing six runs (four earned) in one inning.
- Muskingum ended the game with eight hits, while Ohio Wesleyan had seven hits.
