Speeth leads men’s cross country at JennaStrong Invite

Junior Wade Speeth tallied an 8K time of 26:32.9 to lead the Muskingum men's cross country team at the JennaStrong Invitational.

The Course

  • The annual event was held on Wilmington's campus.

How it Happened

  • Junior Wade Speeth tallied a time of 26:32.9 to finish 27th as an individual and lead Muskingum.
  • Sophomore Max McAdams recorded a time of 27:19.4 to finish 50th, while sophomore Chance Carpenter registered a time of 27:43.0 for 74th.
  • Sophomore Shane Funk notched a pace of 29:40.3 for 138th place, while freshman Parker Graf finished with a time of 30:18.7 for 156th.
  • Senior Devyn Stout tallied a time of 30:25.5 for 160th, and freshman Ryan Cummins rounded out the Muskie scoring with a time of 30:49.7 for 173rd.

  • The Muskies will hit the course again on Saturday, October 29, when they participate in the OAC Championships. Muskingum will host the event at Moorehead Farm, and it's set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
