Men's Outdoor Track & Field secures second at Monica Scott Invitational

The Muskingum men's outdoor track & field team secured second at the Monica Scott Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The Basics

On The Track

  • Leading the Muskies was the 4x400-meter relay team with a first place finish notching a score of 3:37.69.
  • Freshman Devyn Stout earned third in the 3,000-meter steeple run with a mark of 11:38.04, while freshman Jeremiah Poiry finished behind him in fourth with a time of 12:04.09.
  • Freshman Hasson Williams placed second in the 110-meter hurdles with a score of 16.36 and freshman Evan Wagner finished third scoring a 16.61.
  • Freshman Samuel Paydock notched fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.64. Freshman Jakai Smith ended behind him in sixth with a mark of 11.78.
  • Freshman Wade Speeth placed sixth in the 800-meter run with a score of 2:03.76.
  • Wagner secured second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.80, while sophomore Seth Roseberry finished behind in third scoring a 1:03.56.

In The Field

  • Junior Chase Stillion led the Muskies with a first place finish in the pole vault scoring a height of 4.00 meters.
  • Freshman Tyrel James notched first in the long jump with a distance of 6.70 meters. Smith secured third with a mark of 5.69 meters.
  • Smith earned second in the triple jump with a score of 11.30 meters.
  • Freshman Logan Wickham placed third in the shot put with a distance of 13.18 meters. Sophomore Daniele Odette-Spillner grabbed fifth with a mark of 12.86 meters.
  • Spillner notched fifth in the discus throw with a score of 38.58 meters, while Wickham placed behind him in sixth with a distance of 36.95 meters.
  • Senior Kevin Dreyer grabbed first in the javelin throw with a mark of 46.00 meters. Sophomore Preston Hershberger earned fourth with a score of 34.95 meters.
