Men's Outdoor Track & Field takes third at Mount Union Homon Invitational

The Muskingum men's outdoor track and field team took third at the Mount Union Homon Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

  • Freshman Samuel Paydock finished fifth in the 100-meter run with a time of 11.23.

  • The 4x100-meter team of Paydock, junior Aaron Johnston, freshman Tyrel James, and freshman Jaden Swiderek notched third with a time of 44.07.
  • Freshman Hasson Williams finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a mark of 16.18, while freshman Evan Wagner placed sixth with a time of 17.85.
  • The 4x400-meter team of Paydock, Johnston, Wagner, and sophomore Seth Roseberry took second with a time of 3:49.01.

In The Field

  • Freshman Julian Anderson guided the Muskies with a third-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 12.00 meters. Freshman Jakai Smith placed fifth with a mark of 11.48 meters, while junior Chase Stillion finished behind him in sixth with a score of 11.11 meters.
  • Senior Kevin Dreyer placed fourth in the javelin throw with a distance of 47.86 meters.
  • Stillion finished seventh in the pole vault with a mark of 4.04 meters.
  • James placed sixth in the long jump with a distance of 6.47 meters and freshman Julian Anderson finished behind him in seventh with a mark of 6.42 meters.
  • Sophomore Tristan Makowski notched fifth in the shot put with a mark of 12.74 meters, while freshman Logan Wickham finished in seventh with a score of 12.12 meters.
  • Sophomore Daniel Odette-Spillner earned sixth in the discus throw with a distance of 38.90 meters.
  • Makowski placed fifth in the hammer throw with a score of 42.00 meters.
