The Muskingum men's indoor track & field team reeled in a win at the Muskie Meet #4 in the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex. The Muskies placed first with a score of 121 points.
The Basics
- Location: BHWC - New Concord, Ohio
- Event: Muskie Meet #4 - Final home event for the Muskies this season.
- Info: As a team, the Muskies finished with 121 points and ended the event in first place.
On the Track
- In the 500 meters, senior Colton Whyte logged a first place finish with a time of 1:07.68.
- Junior Elijah Kuklica logged a first place finish in the 200 meter with a time of 22.97.
- Seniors Doudley Jaboin and Cameron Scott secured first and second place finishes with times of 53.74 and 53.89 in the 400 meter dash.
- In the one mile, Junior Korey Kakascik finished in second place with a time of 4:56.66.
- Junior Ryan Irwin secured a third place finish in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.58.
- In the 1000 meters, sophomore Sean Murdock finished in first place with a time of 2:48.35.
- Also in the 1000 meters, sophomore Blake Miller secured second with a time of 2:50.66 and freshman Elijah Newland snagged third with a time of 2:50.89.
- Junior Elijah Kuklica placed fourth in the 400 meters with a time of 52.15.
- Irwin finished with a seventh place finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.24.
On the Field
- Freshman Nathan Thomas placed first in the shot put with a mark of 14.42 meters.
- Sophomore William Jackson finished in second place in the weight throw with a mark of 15.79 meters.
- Junior Trey Gastrich secured a fourth-place finish in the long jump event with a mark of 6.30 meters.
- Freshman Adam Rohrbaugh finished in fourth place in the high jump with a mark of 1.70 meters.
- Rohrbaugh added a seventh place finish in the pole vault event with a mark of 3.50 meters.
- Sophomore Dakota Tennant logged a eighth place finish in the shot put event with a mark of 12.01 meters.
Up Next
- The Muskies will be back in action on Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1 when they compete in the OAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The event is hosted by Ohio Northern University and is set to take place inside the ONU Sports Center in Ada, Ohio.
