The Muskingum men's indoor track & field team hosted their first home event this season at the Muskie Meet #1 in the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.

The Basics

• Location: BHWC - New Concord, Ohio
• Event: Muskie Meet #1 - First home event for the Muskies this season.
• Info: As a team, the Muskies finished with 33.50 points and placed 9th.

On the Track

• Senior Colton Whyte placed third in the 400 meter dash with a time of 51.46. 
• Whyte added a second place finish in the 200 meter dash after recording a time of 23.14.
• Junior Ryan Irwin finished fourth in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.58. 
• Junior Korey Kakascik logged a sixth place finish in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1:17.33.

On the Field

• Junior Trey Gastrich hit a mark of 6.44 meters in the long jump event to place third. 
• Sophomore William Jackson finished sixth in the weight throw event with a mark of 14.34 meters.
• Sophomore Thomas Christman logged a sixth place finish in the high jump event with a mark of 1.80 meters.
• Freshman Adam Rohrbaugh placed eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.75 meters.

• The Muskies will be back in action on Saturday, January 25 when they compete at the Muskie Meet #2. The event is set to take place in the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.
