Junior Colton Whyte and senior Tristan Makowski earned All-Ohio honors and led Muskingum at the All-Ohio Championships.
The Basics
- Location: Westerville, Ohio - Clements Recreation | Fitness Center & The Rike Center
- Muskingum scored 40 points as a team to finish eighth out of 13 teams.
Notables
- Makowski and Whyte earned All-Ohio honors for their performances in today's event.
On the Track
- Whyte earned All-Ohio honors with a first place finish in the 400-meter with a time of 50.85.
- Sophomore Ryan Irwin earned a fifth place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.48.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of freshman Kohen Cox, junior Doudley Jaboin, junior Cameron Scott, Whyte finished in fifth place with a time of 3:33.76.
- The 4x200-meter relay team of sophomore Trey Gastrich, sophomore Noah Mitchell, Irwin, and Whyte placed fifth with a time of 1:33.86.
In the Field
- Makowski earned All-Ohio honors following his second place finish in the Shot Put with a mark of 15.42 meters.
- Freshman Daven Gibson finished fourth in the High Jump with a mark of 1.89 meters.
- Mitchell also recorded a mark of 13.04 meters in the Triple Jump to secure a fourth place finish.
