Men’s Indoor Track & Field finishes third at OWU Ron Althoff Relays

The Muskingum men's Indoor Track & Field team finished third at the Ohio Wesleyan Ron Althoff Relays on Friday.

The Basics

Notables

  • The Muskies finished third out of a four-team field.
  • Muskingum logged a team total of 96 points.
  • Ohio Wesleyan finished first with 114 points.

On the Track

  • Junior Ja'Lin Goodman notched a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.15.
  • Sophomore Hasson Williams secured a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.02.
  • The 1,600m Sprint Medley Relay team of freshman Tyrese Mayle, Goodman, freshman Doudley Jaboin, and freshman Chance Carpenter finished third with a time of 4:07.75.
  • The 2,000m Distance Medley Relay team of Williams, junior Seth Roseberry, junior Devyn Stout, and sophomore Wade Speeth placed second with a time of 5:09.90.
  • The 4,000-Distance Medley Relay team of freshman Max Mcadams, freshman Colton Whyte, freshman Cameron Scott, and Speeth placed second with a time of 11:25.

On the Field

  •  Mayle secured a first-place finish in the men's triple jump with a mark of 38'9.75" (11.83m), while Whyte logged a second-place finish leap of 38'6" (11.73m), and sophomore Tommoris Davis placed third notching a 38'2.50" (11.62m).
  • Whyte leaped 20'10.50" (6.15m) to finish fourth in the long jump, while sophomore Julian Anderson logged 20'1.75" (6.14m) to finish fifth. Sophomore Tommoris Davis finished eighth jumping 19'5.25" (5.92m) and freshman Tyrese Myle rounded out the Muskie long jumping squad with an 18'9" (5.71m) to finish 10th.
  • Junior Tristan Makowski placed fourth in the Men's Shot Put tossing a distance of 42'10.75" (13.07m), while sophomore Cortez Hatem finished fifth with a distance of 41'8.75" (12.72m).
  • Makowski placed seventh in the Men's Weight throw tossing a distance of 40'9.50" (12.43m).
