Men's Tennis falls to Waynesburg

The Muskingum men's tennis team fell to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in their 2019 season opener, 9-0. 

Waynesburg took control of the match early on by recording victories in back-to-back doubles. The Yellow Jackets swept in singles play to secure the dominating 9-0 victory over the Muskies. 

Freshmen Joshua Brown and Paul Lambo provided a spark for the Muskies in singles play. Brown dropped a hard-fought match against Joey English in first singles (5-7, 5-7), while Lambo slipped to Conor Cassidy in second singles (6-7 (4-7), 2-6). 

The Muskies next travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan to battle Cornerstone on Saturday, September 28. Start time is slated for 2:30 p.m.
