Muskingum men's soccer team overpowered Mt. St. Joseph 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

  • Senior David Carlson recorded two goals on three shots to lead the Muskie offense.
  • Senior Morgan McKenna fired in a goal on a penalty kick to help propel the Muskies.
  • Junior Jacob Gulu tallied two shots on goal.
  • Junior Jeremy Fuller, freshman Noah Walker, and junior Terrance Wright each logged a shot on goal.
  • Freshman Noah Emmons earned six saves in his 90 minutes in between the pipes.
  • The Muskies totaled 11 shots, eight shots on goal, and two corner kicks. The Mountain Lions totaled 19 shots, seven shots on goal, and three corner kicks.
  • Willis Johnson finished with a goal to lead Mt. St. Joseph.
  • Aaron Smith stood in goal for the Mountain Lions and finished with five saves.
