Men’s Soccer Celebrates Faculty and Staff Appreciation Game vs. #21 Ohio Northern 

The Muskingum Men's soccer team celebrated their faculty and staff appreciation game against 21st-ranked Ohio Northern on Saturday evening. The Muskies fell to the Polar Bears, 6-0.

  • The Polar Bears took a 1-0 lead in the 5th minute off a penalty kick and added a second tally in the 38th minute to head into the break with a 2-0 edge.
  • Ohio Northern tallied four goals in the second frame to complete the scoring.

  • Junior Mahfuz Yakubu and junior Morgan McKenna ended the contest with one shot apiece.
  • Freshman goalkeeper Caden Groff saw 74 minutes of action in the frame and notched four saves.
  • Freshman Evan Laraba played 16 minutes between the pipes and added three saves.
  • Gavin Marshall registered two goals to lead the Polar Bear offense.
