The Muskingum men's soccer team couldn't get past Washington & Jefferson in the second half en route to dropping a 2-1 game.

The Breakdown

  • The scoring got started in the early stages of the second half by the Presidents from a goal by Michael Komaniak in the 50th minute off an assist by Nicholas Maknoon making the score, 1-0.
  • The Muskies got on the board off a penalty kick from junior Jordan Work to tie the game up at 1-1 in the 63rd minute.
  • Less then two minutes later the President's took the lead off a penalty kick from Joey Feola in the 65th minute to make the final score, 2-1.
  • The Muskies went down to ten men in the 75th minute after a red card from sophomore Blake Weatherholt.
  • Leading the Muskingum attack was sophomore Omar Lahbiki with two shots and both of them on goal.
  • Senior Chase Michael Hillard added two shots for the Muskies.
  • Work had one shot and the lone goal for Muskingum.
  • Senior Drew Wise and freshman Edwin Palou each had one shot.
  • Junior Damon Spaeth played all 90 minutes in frame for the Muskies and made five saves on the night.
  • Leading the Washington & Jefferson attack was Joey Feola with five shots and one goal.
  • Alex Molina added three shots with two on goal for the Presidents.
  • Alvaro Viadas and Jake Fetterman each had two shots to help the Presidents attack.
  • Presidents goalkeeper Ian Donlon had two saves in goal.
  • The Presidents ended the night outshooting the Muskies, 16-9.
