Men's Soccer battles Wilson to 1-1 2OT draw

The Muskingum men's soccer team battled Wilson for 110 minutes before the outing ended in a 1-1 draw.

How It Happened

  • Freshman Johnny Aisthorpe gave the Muskies a 1-0 lead in the 54th minute on his third goal of the season. He ended the game with four shots, including two on frame.
  • Wilson's Aaron Russ tied the game in the 81st minute. He ended the outing with two shots.
  • Muskingum notched four shots in the two overtime periods, while Wilson did not attempt a shot.
  • The Muskies ended the game with 18 shots and Wilson mustered 16.
  • Freshman William Bradshaw played the opening 45 minutes for the Muskies in frame. He made one save. Senior Josh Routte played the final 65 minutes in frame and allowed one goal.
  • Dan Perry played the entire 110 minutes in goal and made two saves and allowed one goal.
