The Muskingum men's soccer team lost at Heidelberg on Saturday afternoon, 4-0.

The Matchup

  • Location: Tiffin, Ohio - Heidelberg University

The Game

  • Heidelberg took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute on Chris Koczak's eighth goal of the season
  • The Berg scored three more goals in the second half in the 53rd, 59th and 80th minutes to complete the scoring. Kyle Simpson, Kyle Boone and Behnam Alinjad all tallied a goal.
  • Muskingum ended the outing with five shots. Junior William Debolt, junior Antonio Meehan, freshman Chase Michael Hilliard, freshman Barrett Fitzgerald and freshman Amier Salah all logged a strike.
  • The Student Princes ended the outing with an 18-5 advantage in shots and a 9-2 nod in corner kicks.

In the Net

  • Freshman Gabriel Kral played the entire game in frame and made five saves and allowed four goals.
  • Alex Archambeau made two saves en route to posting the shutout.
