The Muskingum men's soccer team notched an impressive 3-0 shutout win at Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon.
The Matchup
- Records: Muskingum (3-5 overall), Saint Vincent (1-8-1 overall)
- Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania - Saint Vincent College
The Game
- After a scoreless first half, the Muskies were able to take a 1-0 lead in the 46th minute due to freshman Alex Furst scoring off a cross from freshman Michael Chase Hilliard. The goal marked Furst's first career goal.
- Junior Zach Schumauch scored on a shot taken 30 yards out in the 50th minute to give the Muskies a 2-0 lead. The tally was Schumach's first goal of the season.
- The last score for Muskingum was shot by Gage Toy in the 68th minute, chipping the ball over the goalie.
- The Muskies outshot Saint Vincent 16-10 for the game, while Saint Vincent had a 5-4 edge in corner kicks.
- Hilliard led the Muskies with four shots.

- Freshman Gabe Kral played all 90 minutes and made 5 saves en route to posting his second career shutout.
- Jon White made three saves and allowed three goals for the Bearcats.
