Men's soccer shuts out St. Vincent

The Muskingum men's soccer team notched an impressive 3-0 shutout win at Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon.

The Matchup

  • Records: Muskingum (3-5 overall), Saint Vincent (1-8-1 overall)

The Game

  • After a scoreless first half, the Muskies were able to take a 1-0 lead in the 46th minute due to freshman Alex Furst scoring off a cross from freshman Michael Chase Hilliard. The goal marked Furst's first career goal.
  • Junior Zach Schumauch scored on a shot taken 30 yards out in the 50th minute to give the Muskies a 2-0 lead. The tally was Schumach's first goal of the season.
