Title: Assistant Coach

Lori Bubenchik serves as an assistant coach for the men's and women's golf programs.

Bubenchik played college golf for The Ohio State University (1988-1992). She is a graduate of John Glenn High School where she was a two-year letterwinner on the boys high school golf team. 

In 1999 Bubenchik became a PGA golf professional. Bubenchik was an assistant and tournament director at The Medallion Club in Westerville, Ohio, and Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio, for three years and seven years, respectively. Bubenchik was a 2017 inductee to the Zanesville District Golf Association Hall of Fame and also serves on the board of directors for the local organization. 

Bubenchik and her husband Rich coach varsity girls golf at John Glenn High School. They started the program in 2014 and have coached there since it’s inception.

Lori and Rich reside in Norwich, Ohio. They operate a family-owned convenient store and pizza shop in Quaker City, Ohio. They have one daughter, Lexi, who is currently in Honors College and plays golf at Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is a 2018 WGCA Academic All-American.
