Men's Golf finishes tied for fourth at the Wooster Nye Intercollegiate

The Muskingum men's golf team finished tied for fourth at the Wooster Nye Intercollegiate. Freshman David Link Jr. led the Muskies in the two day event.

The Basics

  • The event was held at Wooster Country Club.
  • Muskingum finished the tournament tied for fourth.
  • As a team, the Muskies shot 636 (317-319).
  • Otterbein won the team title with a score of 626 (318-308).

On The Course 

  • Link Jr. led the Muskies with a 36 hole total of 155 (77-78).
  • Senior Cameron Henry added to the Muskies efforts with a 157 (78-79).
  • Senior Nicholas Luniewski shot 161 (80-81).
  • Senior Nick Congrove tallied a 166 (85-81).
  • Senior Ethan Miller rounded out the Muskies with a 171 (82-89)

Inside The Numbers

  • Henry finished second in par three scoring with an average of 3.25.
  • Link Jr. led all golfers in par four scoring with an average of 4.20. He also tallied the second most pars in the event. 
  • Luniewski placed sixth in both par three and par five scoring. He averaged 3.38 on par three's and 4.88 on par five's.
