Senior Brenton Franks shot a one-under-par 71 to lead the Muskingum men's golf team to a third-place finish at the Capital Purple and White Invite at Royal American G.C.
The Basics
- The invitational took place at Royal American Golf Course.
- As a team, Muskingum shot a combined team score of 306.
- The Muskies finished third out of the five-team field. Otterbein and Capital tied for first with a 292.
On the Course
- Franks led the squad with a one-under-par 71 to finish tied for third in the 46-golfer field.
- Freshman Cameron Henry finished tied for ninth with a 75.
- Senior Preston Yeater shot a 79 to place tied for 16th.
- Freshman Ethan Miller carded an 80 to finish tied for 22nd.
- Sophomore Chase Karling and senior Caleb Barnette each shot 81 to finish tied for 26th.
