Men's Golf places sixth at John Carroll Invite

The Muskingum men's golf team placed sixth at the John Carroll Invite on Monday evening.

The Basics

  • The invitational took place at the Shaker Heights Country Club.

  • Junior Brenton Franks led the Muskies finishing tied for 12th in a 46 player field shooting a 76.
  • Senior Thomas Green finished tied for 21st shooting a 78.
  • Freshman Lucas Huston finished tied for 34th shooting an 83.
  • Freshman Chase Karling finished tied for 34th shooting an 83.
  • Junior Preston Yeater finished tied for 34th shooting an 83.
  • Freshman Jack Williams finished tied for 41st shooting a 90.
  • Baldwin Wallace won the event with a combined team score of 312.
  • Sean O'Grady of John Carroll University won medalists honors after shooting a 71.

What's Next

  • The Muskingum men's golf team next travel to Alliance, OH to compete in the Mount Union Invite on Saturday, September 21. The event is set to take place at the Tannehauf Golf Course.
