Men's Bowling ranks 19th in NCBCA Coaches Poll

The Muskingum men's bowling team is ranked 19th after receiving a total of 73 points in the first poll of the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association for the 2024-25 bowling season. The NCBCA Coaches' Team Poll is a presentation of the top 20 USBC Collegiate bowling programs determined by the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA).

The Muskies have tacked an impressive resume to their season so far with a pair of second place finishes at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 and the Ohio Bowling Conference #2. They added multiple third place finishes at the DO Apparel/Brunswick, the Muskie Mash, and the Ohio Bowling Conference #3. The Muskies also logged a semi-final finish at The Raider Classic. 

Senior Evan Thro has been the leader for the Muskies through the first part of their season. Finishing as the leading pin scorer in four out of the teams six tournament appearances. Thro's top performance came at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 where he topped the individual leaderboard in rout to a 1st Team All-Tournament honor.

Muskingum returns to action on Monday, December 16 when they travel to the Glen Carson Collegiate Shootout at Southpoint for a four day tournament.
