Men's Bowling remains at 17th in latest USBC National Poll

Following a strong performance at the Ohio Bowling Conference #4 tournament, men's bowling has remained 17th in the latest United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Poll.

The men's bowling team has two first place finishes this season. Their team wins came at the Welcome Back Tournament, and the Ohio Bowling Conference #3 tournament. They have also notched two second-place finishes at the Lehigh Valley Classic and the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 tournament. 

Most recently the Muskies added a third place finish at the Ohio Bowling Conference #4 tournament. Senior Ethan McDonald and junior Evan Thro tied for eighth place at the tournament with an average of 217.5 pins per game.

Leading the way this season for the Muskies is Thro who is averaging 212.7 pins per a game. Thro has two top 5 finishes this season in the eight events he has participated in. Freshman Jacob Willard and sophomore Brody Wildenmann both have averaged 210.8 pins per game. They both have notched one top 5 finish individually with Wildenmann playing in nine events and Willard doing seven. McDonald has averaged 210.8 pins per a game through eight events this season, while finishing inside the top 5 in two events.

Muskingum will look for win number three, and to climb the rankings on Saturday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. when they will compete in the Muskie Mash tournament. The event will take place at Legacy Lanes in Coshocton, Ohio.
