Men's Bowling ranked 20th in latest USBC National Poll

Muskingum men's bowling was ranked 20th in the latest United States Bowling Congress after competing in the Bowlero Southern tournament in Marietta, Georgia.

The men's bowling team has put together an impressive resume for the season. Finishing 1st at the Welcome Back Tournament, runner-up at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 Tournament, 4th at the Ohio Bowling Conference #2 Tournament, and most recently placing 10th at the Bowlero Southern. 

At the Bowlero Southern, sophomore Brody Wildenmann recorded an impressive 197.3 average over six games to help lead the Muskies. Following that up was junior Evan Thro at 195.5 and senior Ethan McDonald at 194 over six games. Senior Andrew Amore pitched in a 196 average over two games, and sophomore Kenny Haslip threw in a 194 average over four games. Rounding out things for the Muskeis were sophomore John Jacobs with an impressive 235.5 average over a two game stretch and freshmen Talon Newton and Jacob Willard at 189 and 171 averages, respectively.

Muskingum will look to climb the rankings when they return to action on Saturday, November 18. They will be competing in the Ohio Bowling Conference #3 Tournament at Columbus Square Bowling Palace.
