Men's Bowling ranked 12th in the latest USBC National Poll

The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) ranked Muskingum 12th in their latest national poll.

After recording a win at the Welcome Back Tournament on September 16-17, and a 2nd place finish at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 tournament on October 7, men's bowling put up another strong performance at the Ohio Bowling Conference #2 tournament, where they finished 4th out of 18 teams. 

During the tournament, junior Evan Thro led the Muskies with a five game total score of 1121 (245-180-255-238-203), where he averaged 224.2 in his games and finished 9th overall individually. Senior Andrew Amore threw in 15th place finish individually, with a five game score of 1062 (206-187-245-224-200). Sophomore Brody Wildenmann tossed a 1019 (239-187-213-189-191) in his five game series to place 22nd. Rounding out things for the Muskies were freshman Jacob Willard with a 223.7 average over three games, senior Ethan McDonald with an average of 199 over three games, and freshman Talon Newton with a 159 in one game.

The Muskies will look to climb the ranks again on Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5, when they will compete in Marietta Georgia, at the Bowlero Southern two-day tournament.
