Thro leads Men’s Bowling at Kegel Collegiate Classic  

Sophomore Evan Thro rolled a five-game series of 1155 to finish 10th out of a 469-bowling field to lead the Muskingum men's bowling team at the Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic in Addison, Ill. The Muskies finished as runners-up out of a 71-team field as a team, knocking down a grand total of 9823 pins. 

 The Basics

  • The two-day event took place at the Stardust Bowl in Addison, Ill. 
  • As a team, Muskingum placed second out of a 71-team field with an overall score of 9645.
  • Savannah College of Art and Design-Savannah claimed the team title with a total score of 9823.

 Freshman Brody Wildenmann placed 14th by knocking down 1139 pins over five games for an average of 227.8 per game.

 Junior Andrew Amore finished 88th and knocked down 1021 pins over five games for an average of 204.2 per game.

 Junior Ethan McDonald placed 150th and knocked down 955 pins over five games for an average of 191 per game.

The Muskies return to action on Saturday, January 21, when they compete at an Ohio Bowling Conference event in Columbus, Ohio.
