Thro sets school record, leads Men’s Bowling at OBC Event 

Sophomore Evan Thro rolled a school-record 1021 (226-216-279-300) series en route to finishing first out of a 173-bowler field. Adding to his solid performance, Thro's fourth game saw him bowl an outstanding 300-game to help pace the Muskingum Men's bowling team to a fourth-place finish at an Ohio Bowling Conference event. 

Notables

  • Thro earned All-Tournament Team honors for his dominant performance over the tournament.
  • Thro set the school record in a four-game series tallying a score of 1021, while also tying a high game record with a 300.
  • Muskingum finished fourth out of a 17-team field with a team total of 7197

Freshman Connor Collins carded a four-game series of 931 (236-257-227-211) averaging 232.7 per game to finish fourth.

Junior Ethan McDonald finished 15th with a four-game series of 878 (193-252-207-226).

Up Next

Muskingum is next in action when they travel to Marietta, Georgia to compete at the Bowlero Southern Collegiate Classic. The two-day event will begin on Saturday, November 5, and will take place at Bowlero Austell bowling alley.
