Amore leads men's bowling with 6th-place finish at OBC event

Freshman Andrew Amore led the Muskies with a sixth-place finish in the 63-bowler field to help lift Muskingum to a third-place finish in the seven-team field at the Ohio Bowling Conference event held at AMF Sawmill in Columbus on Saturday.

Amore bowled a 632 series (192-223-217) and averaged 210.7 per game.

Junior Joshua Hoffer carded a 602 series (188-211-203) to finish 11th. He averaged 200.7 per game.

Freshman Michael McConnaughey placed 18th with a 566 (178-200-188).

Freshman Ethan McDonald bowled a 553 (206, 200, 147) to place 21st, and sophomore Alberto Dunlap bowled a 533 (159-191-183) to place 26th to round out the Muskie effort.

 Muskingum returns to action on Saturday, March 27, at the Ohio Bowling Conference Championships at Wayne Webb in Columbus. The event is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.
