McDonald finishes first at OBC event

Freshman Ethan McDonald bowled a 300 game en route to finishing first to lead the Muskingum men's bowling team at the Ohio Bowling Conference event held at AMF Sawmill in Columbus on Saturday.

McDonald won the tournament with a 705 series (300-212-193). He finished first out of the 73-bowler field. McDonald's strong performance helped propel Muskingum to a fourth-place finish in the nine-team field.

Sophomore Alberto Dunlap bowled a 611 (216-202-193) to place ninth. Junior Joshua Hoffer carded a 580 series (214-185-181) to finish 19th.

Freshman Andrew Amore rolled a 571 (194-192-185) to place 25th, and junior John David Bushong rounded out the varsity squad with a 450 (135-167-148) to finish 52nd.

Muskingum returns to action on Saturday, March 13, at the next Ohio Bowling Conference event held at AMF Sawmill in Columbus. The action starts at 11:00 a.m.
