Men's Bowling finishes eighth in OBC tournament

The Muskingum men's bowling team finished with a eighth-place finish in the ten-team field at Wayne Webb Columbus Bowling. The Ohio Bowling Conference hosted the event.

Leading the Muskies was freshman James McConnaughey who placed 29th in the 96-bowler field with a three-game series 599 (179-220-200). He averaged 199.7 per game. Junior Daniel Odette-Spillner finished 34th with a 584 (182-235-167). Spillner averaged 194.7. Sophomore Garrett Thomas placed 50th with a 542 (187-167-188) en route to averaging 180.7. 

Sophomore John Hardesty rounded out the strong Muskie effort on Saturday. Hardesty placed 57th with a 506 (193-159-154, 168.7 average).

Muskingum next competes at another tournament hosted by the Ohio Bowling Conference on Saturday, February 27. The event will take place at AMF Sawmill in Columbus.
